Happy Valentine’s Day To Everyone, Young and Old. May God Bless You In All Areas of Your Lives
There is a famous scripture John 3:16. If God did not desire a relationship with the world, would he have given his only begotten son? This is the type of love we need in our relationships, whether with God or the people around us. Remember we were created in his own imagine. The type of relationship that we need is a relationship of love, the type of love that has not limits. God broke those limits when he have his only son. Experiencing the love of God gives to us the fullness of God. If you do not have the love of God then what love do you have to give? But wait, love does not mean you will be happy all the time, but it means that you are willing to sacrifice for a loved one just like God sacrificed his son. Which also means that if God did not love us he would have long time ago throw us out, but then why should we, if God did not do it, throw our loved one who has offended us out of our lives.
The one thing you can never run from is a relationships, here is why: If you despise your neighbor, you have create a relationship of resentment between you and that person. The one thing that makes any relationship flourish is Love. Without love how will trust and communication enter in to make the relationship complete? When you are in a relationship be mindful that Love is something that makes a relationship stable. Not only is it stable but when Love is involved it should be given without expecting anything in return. Love is a spiritual gift by itself and should be exchanged.
When talking about love, we are also talking about giving. Giving is very important in a relationship, especially a relationship with God. Remember the saying “Sharing is Caring”. It applies in relationships too.
